A car park is a flat, open surface that has already been built on: the best place to generate electricity without using up land. A photovoltaic carport adds a roof of panels, shelters vehicles and powers the building, a storage battery or charging points.
The project is prepared in four stages: survey of the car park and its orientation, study of the layout and connection, installation, commissioning. Combined with a battery, the carport allows the energy generated during the day to be consumed on site.
